V-Flash® Overview

The V-Flash lets you turn your 3D models into functional, beautiful parts and assemblies that you can hold in your hands, test, and use.

Who is V-Flash for?

Anyone that wants to decrease time to market, improve design communication, create prototypes cheaper, and iterate usability faster.

The power of the V-Flash 3D Printer isn't confined to a single industry or use. Mechanical designers, consumer product designers, architects, medical device manufacturers, toy makers, concept artists - nearly everyone can ramp up their workflow with the addition of a V-Flash.

What can V-Flash do?

The V-Flash creates hard or soft plastic parts with extremely fine detail, superb surface finish, and excellent finishing potential. Paint models, coat them in metal, or leave them as they are. These parts are durable, beautiful, and ready for functional testing or production use.

Tolerances are sufficiently small so you can create moving assemblies from a single build - no assembly required.

Components of the V-Flash System

The V-Flash 3D Printer

The workhorse - the V-Flash is what actually creates 3D models. Using an extremely precise UV curing mechanism, the V-Flash delivers incredible speed and accuracy.

Print Cartridges

The "ink" - these are super easy to install (in seconds). V-Flash FTI-GN Material Cartridges come with 1.8 kg (4 lbs) of material. Everything except installation is completely automated so you don't have to mess with anything. The material is a specially formulated resin that cures when exposed to UV light.

Part Washer

The part washer is a small machine that helps ensure the highest quality surface finish before final curing. After removing the parts from the F-Flash, you will place them into the sonic part washer for a few minutes. Then, it's off to the Curing Unit.

Curing Unit

The Curing Unit is a small machine that gives you control over the final curing of your parts. Setting the timer for 5 minutes gives parts that are slightly "rubbery" and have some give to them. Setting the machine to an hour would give extremely hard, durable parts. Depending on your application you have the flexibility to choose the curing cycle that's right for you.
