The 2008-2009 Design Contest has come to a close. We had some amazing entries from our very diverse user base - some were cool, others interesting, and more were just downright impressive. First Place Winner - The Econotruder

What it is: An economical extrusion machine, which anyone could build using off the shelf parts and electronics.

Second Place Winner - Grinder

Location: Germany
What it is: A machine for fully automatic profile grinding.

Third Place Winner - Race Car

From: Ian Baldwin - BDN Sportscars
Location: UK
What it is: Race car designed for the 750 Motor Club RGB Championship (UK national club championship) for the purpose of retaining the RGB championship currently held by the car's predecessor.
