DirectX 9.0c

Alibre Design 8.2 and later requires DirectX 9.0c. You will not be able to install Alibre Design without having an appropriate DirectX version installed.

What is DirectX?

DirectX is produced by Microsoft and is now a standard element of Microsoft Windows. It is a suite of tools that enables software developers like Alibre, Inc. to deliver high performance, rich content to customers.

All Alibre Design users are encouraged to update to the latest version of DirectX and the latest drivers for their video cards as soon as possible. 

How do I Check My Version of DirectX?

  1. Select Run from the Windows Start Button. 
  2. Type dxdiag.exe in the Open field and click OK. The DirectX Diagnostic Tool window appears. 
  3. If prompted to allow Windows to run the diagnostic, select Yes. 
  4. On the System tab, under System Information, the DirectX Version listed should be DirectX 9.0c.

Microsoft does not support DirectX 9.0c on the Windows NT 4.0 operating system. As of version 8.2, Alibre Design is no longer supported on Windows NT 4.0 operating systems. For a list of supported operating systems, view the system requirements.
