Just adding my 2 cents guess/comment. If you downloaded the bearing block, and looks like you may have gotten if from grainger, the file may not be exactly the same dimensions as the holes in your plate. I'm guessing it's probably off by a minute amount. Also, possibly different modeling units...

Adjustable size planes. Similar to what SolidWorks has would be nice. When creating planes in Alibre they tend to be about the size of the object and get lost easily if you have many planes to deal with. Possibly have the name visible as well.

Unfortunately, I think you'd really need to have the CAD software designed somewhat around the controller to really get the most out of it. The Shapr3D program for ipad looks really intriguing to me. Game controller with and intuitive modeling interface could be cool.

Yeah, I wish we could just drag and drop the configurations after they've been created. I like having them sorted so things are easier to find.

I realize I can make things work and there are always work arounds but I just wanted to mention that these issues exist and shouldn't. At least you were able to recreate the behavior, so I'm not completely crazy. Thanks again for everyone's input on this.
