    Lofts twisting. Why?

It is a limitation of the kernel that you cannot use faces and also guide curves in a loft. However, see the example above.

    Lofts twisting. Why?

Just a spline a 3D sketch made in top-down view connecting the sketches together; did have to rotate view for the bottom most sketch connection since it is identical to the one above it. Created 3 splines in one 3D Sketch. What I would also do, since I assume the bottom 2 sketches represent a...

    Lofts twisting. Why?

Guide Curves / Rails: Also note that from the top view your 3rd from the top sketch is in some places smaller than the 2nd from the top - this forces the loft which is otherwise gently going outward to have a large convexity change in a small space causing squirrely results: If you can try...

    Congrats young man! Happy Bday!

Any ideas what the next update will include?

It's all good man. Just remember that unless sarcasm is very obvious, it often doesn't come across via text, especially in places like this forum where sarcasm is not the default mode of communication :D

Any ideas what the next update will include?

Please have a better day. I did not say anything like what you are acting like I said. I said that we have 2 existing methods that are performant at scale, and that I did not understand the way in which you were using terminology. In your subsequent example, you have an imported part with no...

    Home Window Requests

So a part can live in many assemblies, and even sub assemblies. How would we pick what you want to see? Even showing you a list at all requires doing a where used search, which is a PDM function and would probably not be super lightweight enough for the home window.

Any ideas what the next update will include?

No, but if we hear enough about it it's probably simple enough in the future. In a pinch you could use the Part Mirror command in the Mirror tool in part workspace to get a left handed representation. I fully understand that is not workable in bulk, but if you need a one off...

Any ideas what the next update will include?

This is not enough info for me to do much with. Please email hello@reliefmaker.com with what you are seeing and we will get you up and running.

Any ideas what the next update will include?

I am really struggling to understand what this means. If your ask is about a lightweight approach, we have...cosmetic threads. I don't know what you mean by "merging all the faces" or "grouping the surfaces". If your ask is about a schematic representation, for example using a revolve cut...

Any ideas what the next update will include?

Thread data is identical for both cosmetic definitions and real thread definitions - the source is all the same excel sheet - same rows, same data. We have had to add in some of the missing data from previous versions of the Excel - for example max and min values might have been grayed out on...

Any ideas what the next update will include?

That is incorrect as we are giving Atom folks the hole and external thread features since hobbyists are more likely to be the ones to be 3D printing threads! Who said nothing good can happen in 2025? ❤️ However, there are some limitations in drawings in Atom3D associated with those features. So...

Any ideas what the next update will include?

As well, you will get v29, which is going to be a monster release with a complete UI overhaul and it feels sooooo good to use, amongst other things :D

Oh, you want it! ;) Here are some of the things... Fillet Overhaul Fillet Groups Fillet groups, allowing you to create multiple fillet sizes from a single feature - much cleaner feature history Chord-size Fillet Sets the edge-to-edge width of the fillet geometry to constant - useful for...

    Home Window Requests

Hey folks, we are reimagineering the Home Window, or at least considering it as we port it to the new UI framework. Any wishlists?

    Alibre reference circle not round

To add on to this - everything visually on screen is an approximation. If you zoom in far enough, things that are actually coincident may look disjoint. Coradial circles may not line up, even on highest facet settings. It's a visual approximation that at most reasonable levels of zoom is a good...

    2025 Roadmap

Multibody modeling is a big topic - it may be most instructive to simply google "Multibody modeling CAD" and watch a video. But at a high level, it's like having an assembly open where you're really in a part workspace and can access each part all the time with part modeling features. You can...

    2025 Roadmap

I hear you, but I disagree that the reason most people don't use the API is because there isn't 100% parity. 95% of our customers are simply not developers, and neither want to nor are capable of using it. That being said, of the people that want to use it and are capable of using it, depending...
