What's new

28.1 Contents - Targeted end of May

I'll need to check for myself, but these new features should fix the edge selection problem.

Variable Radius Fillet Overhaul
A completely new approach to variable radius fillets gives arbitrary control over the number and locations of radius changes across an edge series.
3D Fillet Overhaul
A new fillet experience allows for multiple fillets to be made within the same fillet feature, and adds new options for setback and bulge factor. A new fillet type defined a fillet by the chord length instead of radius.

Day one of 28.1 and modeled threads are already coming in handy!

I'm really liking the rotate view changes and especially the hold spacebar for precision rotating the view. You have no idea how frustrating it was before when trying to select something in the middle of a building while looking through a forest of columns and the view rotates parts into hiding. Now this is no longer an issue. Thank you!

Ha, sometimes it's the smallest things that make a huge impact :D

The toolbox project has had significant delays with contractors not delivering work in a timely fashion. However, a new contract is about to be in place with a new provider. I expect the full library to be done within 4-5 months. We may release individual standards before. Unsure, don't want to commit. It sucks, I know. It's been a massive pain for us too. But it's coming.
Hey @Max, is the toolbox getting close to being done?

I would also be interested in this, and increasingly so. Because I really like Alibre software. The date for some project is approaching where there will be quite a few DIN connecting elements (sometime early next year). And I would be interested to know whether I should spend my time now creating some libraries, or whether they will be delivered directly from Alibre this year.

But from Max's description, I understand that the project is probably huge. Nevertheless, I would appreciate any information.

Thank you.

Thank you for your reply.

I am looking forward to these things in the new version. I wish you much success and no complications in implementing the above into the software.
