3D Printer for Hull

Very nice.
I was talking to a guy the other day. They make moulds for boats.
Their largest CNC is 38 metres long. I often hear it running over the weekend when I walk past with my dog.

That 3d printer is out of this world. Nice. Like a concrete printer but HDPE!
Here is the link of the whole process.
I can already imagine container ships being built using the same process with High-Density Polyethylene ..or other material. Would that be feasible?
It is needed to study the FEM with static and dynamic stress.
 
So, Polyethylene is not labeled as Nylon? Okay. Now, I know. I thought those people making the watercraft using Nylon for some reason. PE/Polyethylene is used in bags that are very lightweight.

I wonder why they have not used Nylon (PA) instead. It would be neat to understand it. I mean to say, it would be neat to understand their rationale for PE over PA. Most plastics can be a boat but whatever they found to be evident in PE is now a boat over PA as a boat.

Still neat I say. Especially their industrial 3D Printer contraption. That is what rules to me.

Nylon: Density 1.12-1.15 g/cm3, Melting Point:190 to 220 Celsius, Strength 50 to 1050 MPa???. Cost Moderate Hight
High Density Polyethylene: Density: 0.90-0.91 g/cm3, Melting Point:130 to 171 Celsius, Strength: 20-38 Mpa. Cost Low.
We need know why the Nylon Strength is so erratic, some sources said 8.27 Mpa.
