I did encounter big problems when almost finishing my design. I have tried to solve the issues but I don't understand whysome flanges of my panel is gone now. Could someone guide me to solve the issue? I have uploaded the sheet metal part.

I unsuppressed one flange, which brought back flanges on many edges BUT I don't know which flanges are supposed to be suppressed. There are a number of flange features in error, some of the errors could relate to suppression of other features (so edges no longer available).

All I can really advise is don't let errors accumulate in a design. Resolve errors as soon as they are triggered - probably by whatever you just did (so at least you'll have some clue). If there are many errors it becomes very difficult to diagnose the problems.

If you are trying different alternatives in the same file, use configurations to manage feature suppression.

Which flange did you supress to bring back other flanges? I think I can't even get that to work.

Thank you for the tip. I definately will try to adress errors right away next time. For this time I surely hope this could be fixed because I was hoping to make drawings to get this part manufactured next week.

Actually - just hit F5 to regenerate the design. Flanges come back and almost all errors disappear. Make sure to Save after regenerating.

Hmm. Thank you so much David. Could you try to explain why this happened and how this fixed the problem?

I'd only be guessing.

One possibility - sketches only update if the sketch is opened, or a full regeneration of the design occurs. So sketches which rely on other sketches, or other features could become invalid as a result of one edit, but update and become valid again after an F5.

Along with what DavidJ said, IF you are just suppressing flanges because they didn't work out for the design the I'd just delete the flange feature, its sketch and any related reference geometry. That way you'll have a shorter and less confusing Design Explore tree. It also makes it easier to trouble shoot subsequent flange errors.

BTW, this seems to be common in design. I've seen this when I was working in design with SolidWorks and someone had gone through various design iterations and left all their "bad idea" solutions suppressed in the history tree. It took me quite a while to sort thru what was presented so I could get a clean tree that rebuilt without errors.

I think it might have been related to fillet 30. This should have all of your flanges you wanted back, with the suppressed ones still suppressed. Just make sure that fillet/rounding 30 has all the rounded edges you need. If not, I'd suggest adding the fillets again in a separate feature at the end of the tree.1742937776720.png
