Sebastian,

I would be very careful about trusting published data provided by the various material's suppliers. I went through formal testing on some 18 such materials a bit over a year ago and none of the vendor supplied data came even close to ASTM procedure analysis! Most of the vendor supplied data was (shall we say) over-optimistic by more than 25%.

I just couldn't help making a comment about the comparison list and it is not directed at Bigseb but at the numbers. The values for the strength and modulus of the PLA are just too much to pass up. The values in MPa are reasonable but the corresponding psi are what one might say a bit too precise.

The numbers should be a reasonable representaion of the real world values.

Just a comment, now I can get back to the real world and do something!
