I noticed there is an Addon Manager, but I have no idea what addons are even available or where I might find them? Is there a list somewhere? Are these Addon's the "Scripts" that I see people talking about so often?

And the Addon manager.... doesn't seem to really let you add anything, I thought this might be a utility for that? Not sure I understand it's purpose?

Thanks

Add-ons are external programs that run within the Alibre framework. There is a section in the forum just for Add-On development. They have their own menu bars, etc. Alibre Script was formally an Add-On written by a third party, but is now shipped as an integrated part of Alibre and isn't considered an add-on anymore, but it still uses the add-on framework. There are some third party add-ons too with regards CAM, FEA, etc. If you have C++ programming skills, you can code your own add-ons using the framework provided by Alibre, Microsoft Visual Studio and the documentation in the Add-Ons forum topics.

There is also a list of Add-ons on the Alibre website ...
