Is there a way to align views on a drawing? I have a cylinder head with cooling fins so I saved as without fins. I loaded both with and without so I could show it without fins for clarity. I would like to get both views aligned with each other because they are really details of the same piece. I can get them close by just eyeballing but there must be a way to actually align them.

Sadly, no. I think it has been requested on more than one occasion but eyeballing is your best bet. You could, I suppose, create some sketch lines on the drawing and align to them.
I'd be tempted to activate sketch on sheet and draw in guide line (probably horizontal or vertical) - used that to position the views to, it'll still be judged by eye but you have something definite to work with.
After aligning the views - specify a new layer and turn off visibility for it. Then send the guide line to that new layer so it vanishes.

We should be able to pick a centerline from each view and be able to align them. Make the first one fixed and the second one the one that moves.
At the moment I get one view where I want it and then zoom right in and position the centerline on the edge of the screen and then select the other view and move it to align. I get to within a pixel. Meh... it works. Close enough.

Just coincident constraints between edges on separate views would be a step forward or even being able to show and constrain on reference geometry like in assemblies would be great.
I find there are so many improvements to the 2D workspace (and sheet metal) to bring it in line with Parts and Assembles, both feature wise and functinality!

Even easier would be RMB click on the active view ( the one you want to align), select Align from the pop up menu, then LMB click/select the view you want to align to. It's been a while and my memory is a bit faded but I think that's how SolidWorks does it for views that are not projected.

What I like to do when I'm trying to line up unrelated views is:
1) Line up the view want with the existing one, directly on top of it, matching whichever features I need
2) Click and Hold the view again to start moving it but not moving the mouse at all and then using the arrow keys to shift things around where I want them.
3) Carefully release the mouse button

I have entered one enhancement request relating to aligning views. I have no insight into where it might sit as regards priority.
