Can Global Parameters be used to drive more than just part and assembly variables?

Can Global Parameters be used to toggle configurations or drive spreadsheet defined parts? A YouTube video that goes more in depth into the features of global parameters would be very helpful. Thank you! I appreciate everything y'all do!

The GLP doesn't toggle the configs, it can hold the values for each config.

Spreadsheet can be used to drive a GLP - could be handy if you need more advanced calculations. Not the other way round (at least not with native functionality).

As David very correctly said, the Excel add-on will recognize and can work with a GLP file, giving you amazing capabilities. Also, Global parameters can have configurations.
