cicle and line snap problem

Hi, There, I got a problem with my Aliber Designer V28, I am trying to drawing two lines between two cycles and extrude that section later and it seems the line is snapped on, but later when I do analysis, it shows overlapping error. and I cant extrude it, After I zoom in, I did notice it is not snapped on and the circle(which came from projection) also looks kind of made by polygon also. I check the snapping setting, it seems all good, I also try to reinstall the software to restore everything to factory default, and none of them work, anyone got idea why it happens and how to fix it? btw, I had been using alibre for half an year already and didn't see this problem, the recent change is upgrade from V24 to V28. but i am not very sure it is caused by this version upgrade. can somebody help. thx a lot

The two additonal lines in the circle sketch are the problem.
the program cant guess what should be the closed outline of the wantet extrusion.
even if the two line endpoint will pefectly sit o the circle the proclem will still remain!
Two circles both closed and not intersecting -> perfect
Don't know what you want to get, but it should be something like a cut through the ring...
one method can be: Use one sketch for the ring. extrude. use a second sketch for the cut.

thank you, Stefan, you are right, I had fix the issue with your suggestion. the two lines are used to make ribs, My focus is all lead to the snapping issue and didn't realize that the too many closed sketches on the same plane is the problem. thx for pointing it out. Cheers

Unlike programs like Inventor, you can't pick which enclosed shape you want. With Alibre it's automatic.
You can have as many separate enclosed spaces in the sketch as you like but you can't have overlaps, each shape must enclose a single area.
Your rib lines created 2 enclosed spaces which causes it to fail.
Even 1 rib line fails as only an inner and outer edge is needed, it doesn't know how to handle the third line.
Had you cut the circles between the rib lines it would have worked.

I used to use a program where the enclosed shape would fill with colour if the sketch was ok and I'd love it if that got implemented in Alibre
