I have been using Geomagic for a few years, but now running into questions as I am trying to 3D Print some of my designs.
I have a small 21 piece assembly (about 6" x 1.5" x 1") that I would like to print. When I export the part to .STL I get a large file...212 MB (It is .5MB as a SAT FIle or 2.1 MB as IGES).
Anyway, is there an easy way to combine all of the parts into a single body so that I can keep the STL file size down and be able to slice it? My computers MAX's out on 8GB RAM quickly.
I am thinking my next step may be to use MasterCAM at work and make a solid body out of it, any better solutions out there?
