Company logo

This is a minor issue, but I was wondering if anyone had some advice on how to make a company logo image and put it in the title block. The logo is simple it is just a circle with a letter and line in it. I got a icon editor. The editor worked ok but the image is choppy and sawtoothed. I tried different formats JPEG bitmap etc, they are all the same.
Oh, I cant seem to draw it in Alibre because it is constructed in THICK lines and I don't think Alibre can change line width

Pete,

Alibre can make thick lines. You need to go to File/Properties then Layers tab. You can create new layers that have the attributes that you want. Then, in the drawing right click, activate sketch on sheet, select your line and apply your new layer to it. But here is the catch... it seems that when viewing in AD, the lines don't actually appear thick. If you do a print preview they do appear thick. (Can someone tell me the logic behind this?)

A way to get your logo would be to make it in a graphic software. I just made what you described in Printmaster12, exported it as a .tif (it could have been other formats too). Then in AD in the drawing with the sketch on sheet active, go to Insert/Image and select your exported file as the one to import. I just did it and the image was not choppy. If you don't have a program that exports a good image, try printing your logo and scanning it in and save your file as a .tif or one of the other formats that insert image supports.

Logo help

John,
thank you for your reply. I tried the layer line thing befor but not seeing any change - gave up. I tried again using the preview and was able to create my logo.
