If your PC is working, then you should be fine. It’s an advanced security product used by businesses. Was a bad update that caused Windows to blue screen and crash. Renaming a file/folder in safe mode or reboot the device 15 times has been a common fix.

Meantime, Southwest Airlines just keeps chugging along unaffected as most of its systems are still using Windows 3.1 and Windows 95. Yes, Win 3.1! Sometimes, upgrading last is a good thing!

Back to the question at hand, unless you're using Alibre on some sort of a network you should be fine. I can't see there being an issue as long as you're not on a network and are using a standalone computer; as kritoke said, the Crowdstrike software is more of a business oriented. The rest of us really shouldn't be affected.

Ended up being about 8.5 million devices impacted. Problem was that Microsoft also broke something as well on their cloud infrastructure around same time. So two big major outages hit at once. These programs are so deeply hooked into systems that when they break, it breaks bad.
