custom material

i created a custom material and assigned a weight but there is no place for a name. I would to use this material in more than 1 part, do I have to set up the custom material each time for every part?
I was hoping I could assign a name that I could select for each part, is that possible?

Please take a look at the HELP ...
There is shown how to create a new Custom Library, a new Custom Folder and a new Custom Material which could be accessed like the "Standard Alibre Materials"

now I have to convert 1 in3 / cu in = 16.39 g to
kg/m3
it was hard enough to figure out the 1 in3 / cu in = 16.39 g

Is this what you want?
Just google lb per cubic inch to kg per cubic metre or the opposite

16.39g = 0.036133765 lb = 1000.1791720209kg/m3
