Now - could you define it in more words - like - do you want this to be - a icon level item - just in the menu's, allow dxf inputs, or jpg inputs, 8 bit or 24 bit resolution, gray scale or color, bump mapping, or....?
Further - does it need to have a dialog, or can it be a setting in preferences, what would be a good example of what you think it should operate like, how I would interact with it in AD V# X.x, could I just take my clients logo, select it - and apply it to a surface somehow and get some specified result?
Actually - what I am saying is, let me see your vision of this Decal Tool, with a description - or even get creative - in snagit and photoshop - and create some version graphicaly of where in the menus it should be positioned, how the tool should be displayed, what it should ask for from the user, and what options the user would have in implementing their 'decal' command.
