drafting views and multiple configurations

In drafting, a view of a component with multiple configurations can be updated by expanding the view and re-projecting using a different configuration. No problem. Is there a way to update multiple views of multiple components with multiple configurations to all reference the same different configuration at once, or does each view have to be updated individually?

You should be able to make any changes to the various views then issue the Reproject Views command to update all the views at the same time. You may need to select the All Views option in the Reproject dialog.

To elaborate, this is a window trim assembly for an old farmhouse where virtually every window is a different size. Once the design was settled it only takes three dimension changes for each configuration in the global parameter file to update each configuration in the entire assembly. This means the configuration name has to exist in the global parameter file, the component, and the assembly. Now I'd like to create one drawing with all the necessary views and do a save as of the drawing for each configuration. The only way I can find to update the views to each configuration is to go into each view and update with a specific configuration like the image attached.

Am I correct in thinking this is the only way to change the views to a specific configuration, if so can it be automated, or is there a different way to update all views to a specific configuration?

You can add multiple sheets to your drawing, and change the config for each sheet.

@DavidJ thanks for the video. It confirms what I see with one exception. Each drawing has to have the parent view updated manually, however the projected views follow automatically. This cuts down the effort by two thirds which is good. Thanks again.
