HP ZBook Studio / HP ZBook 15 (G3/G4)

Just in the process of going to a mobile workstation (after years of using a performance desktop PC), Does anyone run Alibre on a HP ZBook G3/G4 and if so, have you got any pros and cons? I'm considering their 4K Dreamcolor screen too (studio) ... again, has anyone had good/bad experiences of Alibre on 4K laptops (15.6") ??

Alibre on 4K displays in general has some issue - mainly icon sizing. I know the Development team are looking at this, but not for the build that will release in October.

Thanks David, I run it at 4K on my 27" desktop, but I guess at around quarter the size it may be a challenge! I gather that the toolbars are ok, is if just things like constraint symbols that are not currently DPI scaled?

Not sure - I don't have a 4K monitor to find out. I've heard from a few users with issues on 4K monitors, some have found partial workarounds.

I don't have a DCI 4K monitor on my CAD laptop, only Ultra-HD.
Yes, nothing in the UI is scaled according to the DPI of the monitor that currently displays the window.
Without a super-accurate mouse Alibre Design/Geomagic is unusable on such resolutions.
So I can forget about doing any small changes on CAD designs using the touchpad while on the road.
