icon preview in windows explorer

I use to have a preview of the Alibre files in windows explorer when large Icons is selected.
I un-installed Alibre to fix the problem of always getting message that there is a new version of Alibre. now my icons don'ts show a preview of the Alibre files. I went in and selected "Open With" the Alibre exe file, but still no preview of the file.
