Importing sub-assembly into new assembly

Hi everybody,
I am new to Alibre!
I have created a sub-assembly with shaft sliding into linear bearings; I am able to move the shaft in the linear bearing.
Then, I create a new assembly and load the previous sub-assembly, now I am not able to move the shaft into the linear bearing. Is this beavior normal or do I am missing a setting?

Right click the sub-assembly in Design Explorer - select 'Make Flexible'.

Hi Claude -- Just be aware that Flexible applies only to the Assembly in which it was declared. I have been arguing for a "once Flexible always Flexible" definition set for more than a decade. -- Lew

That might not suit all users. The nice thing about the current arrangement is that you get to choose if and where it is flexible. That "once and forever" flexibility may well not always be wanted.
