Keyshot New Version Problem

I just upgraded Keyshot to the latest version (13.2.0 build 184 (4.12.192). When I selected Render from the Alibre menu, Keyshot automatically opened but did not render anything. When I went back to Alibre the following error dilog popped up. Does the new Keyshot expecting a newer .bip file version? I can export to a .bip file and open it in Keyshot wiht no problem.

See this other thread for a similar report and suggested things to try

Not sure if this is a general issue with that newer build or not.

I don't think that version is working in Alibre, this is the latest:

Already reported in the other thread that other have 13.1.1 (build 4) working OK (though none of these are provided by Alibre currently).

Keyshot's description of build number seems to be shown in different ways depending on where you look, which doesn't help clarity.

Has anyone got live linking to work in 13.2 version of Keyshot?

I just tried both an update, and than a full install from scratch of 13.2 in both cases live linking from Alibre failed. Other functions are OK.

Could be a bug in that build of Keyshot, or perhaps Keyshot has done some updates to Live-linking that Alibre doesn't incorporate.

Keyshot 13.2.1 has the same problem. Has been reported to Keyshot, who suspect a bug which they are now looking into.

Check the environment variable

KEYSHOT_EXTERNAL_LICENSE_FOLDER

That can contain multiple paths to programs which act as licences

From KeyShot Manual: Could this have something to do with KeyShot not linking to Alibre? I wonder if it has something to do with the port range.

LiveLinking

On this page
Luxion’s LiveLinking technology allows you to establish a link between your 3D modeling software and KeyShot. This keeps the software separate, allowing you to continue working and refining your model in the CAD application, then send all changes over to KeyShot with the click of a button. All without losing any views, materials, textures or animations already applied.

Download Plugin

To establish LiveLinking between your CAD application and KeyShot, you must first download and install the KeyShot plugin for your CAD application. Each plugin comes with its own installer and unique setup instructions. For specific setup instructions, click here.

Enable LiveLinking

LiveLinking is enabled by default. To change this go to Edit > Preferences > General on Windows and KeyShot > Preferences > General on Mac.

LiveLinking Network Port Range

KeyShot will use one of the ports in the port range for the connection between KeyShot and the plugin in your 3D modeling software.
If the your 3D modeling software is unable to connect to KeyShot via the plugin, it might be because the standard port range is in use by other software, blocked by a firewall or otherwise closed. If it is, you can change KeyShot’s port range to a different, free set of ports.

Warning

Changing the hierarchy in the scene tree will affect LiveLinking and may break it.

Update: It seems that Keyshot made some API changes on their side, which have resulted in Live Linking failing for the latest versions (as described above).

Development has some work in hand to address this from Alibre side.

I updated Alibre Design Expert to the latest revision along with updating Keyshot. Still get the same error as before. See screenshots below. Any ideas?
