LibreLink for LibreOffice

I expected it to be more user friendly however, I got it working, sort of. I'm not getting correct results. The values reported in LibreLink are 6.451597 times the sketch dimensions. I'm working in inches. I have no idea what I did wrong or if this is a bug.

The values reported in LibreLink are 6.451597 times the sketch dimensions.

Looks like an error in the code doing the conversion. 1 inch = 2.54 cm
1 * 2.54 = 2.54
1 *2.54 *2.54 = 6.4516
2.54 x 2.54 = 6.4516
Possibly an error in code editing and left one too many "* 2.54" in the code
Just a thought.

In my experience LibreLink only supports Libre Calc values defined in centimeters.

Looks like you nailed it, now hopefully they will examine the code and make the necessary correction.
Hello, everyone

I am back again... and I made a small video about "How to use LibreLink".
You can find it under this link at the bottom of the website...

Hopefully you like it... :)

Thanks for the video David. Any progress on the inch conversion bug?

The attached zip contains an (inch-based) Alibre Part file as well as a Libre Office Calc file. Please not the "adjustmane" (/(2.54^2)) I had to make to get the EE Values come out correctly in inches. Is there an explanation that makes sense?

Hi Cadtec,
Some news regarding to this topic:
We are currently looking at the option of adding the ability to change G Variables. It would help if we would hear some thoughts of others.
Thanks in advance.
