Linux Mint?

Listed below is my attempt at installing alibre V29 in linux mint using crossover and these are the problems that arise. I hope someone more skilled than myself can figure it out and share with the community because I too use Alibre on 2 computers with licenses. I to am wanting to completely stop using windows but Alibre is the only holding me back.

I'm in the same boat. Just installed Linux on my laptop to see what I can and can't get to either work or simply work around. Alibre is looking more and more likely to be the big holdout, which is heartbreaking. It's held me back from making the switch for about a year, but it's getting to the point that I will stop using and paying for updates if that is what it takes. It makes it a lot harder to even try this since Alibre is on my PC and I can't run a second install to test on the laptop.
I switched to Linux too a while back. I miss Alibre although I think Max said something about a Linux version (or wine compatible version, not sure) in the pipeline for V29 or V30, so that's good. I think I heard this on a Youtube video. If I'm wrong, my apologies.

In the meantime I have been using Moi installed in Wine and the work goes on. No drawing creation but that's no problem for home use. Other than not having Alibre Linux is working out well and there is nothing I miss from Windows.

At work it's still Windows for Mastercam and Solidworks.
