I need a adhesive to glue a 3Dprinted part (PETG) to the shaft of a NEMA34 stepper motor shaft. The shaft is keyed and part matches the shaft diameter an key way (has to be taped on with hammer). The problem is motor gets extremely hot (hot enough to burn your finger). This heat softens the plastic to the point it does not hold and loses alignment.I think I was hope the PETG would bind with the shaft. when motor cooled but it does not. I might need an adhesive to glue the part to the shaft. Because of this heat the adhesive has to be able to handle these temp.
So the question is what type of adhesive should use?
I'm also open to any suggests on how to mount the part to the shaft.
