M Files saving an image with the part

Anyone know if an image can be saved in m files with the part so when creating a BOM, the image of the part is included?

You can save anything in M-Files.

How do you intend to include an image in a BoM ?

That's the question I would like to be able to include an image of the part(jpeg?) in the vault meta data card, so that when a BOM is generated, the image is included.

But there is no option to include image in BOM, so the M-Files question is immaterial...

Thanks for that, a customer was asking if I could supply images of the part in the BOM. If the Alibre BOM can't do it, I may have to export as a csv and manually add the image. Any thoughts on that?

I usually place the BOM in a drawing for printing purposes so it includes a title block. You can insert an image in the drawing no problem. Just save/place the image in m-files first so you can insert it from there into the drawing.

Inventor can have thumbnails in a BOM so I guess they're after something like that.
