Merge parts into new subsassembly

Hi,

I got an assembly containing about 50 parts.
Is there an easy way to make a subassembly with some of those parts?
They are currently all mated into one big assembly - need to make make some smaller assemblies now.

I think it was once possible to just select some parts, right-click and select "Make assembly" or something like that.
All makes etc. would be saved in the new subassembly.

Cant do this anymore though - maybe I remember wrong.

That option isn't currently available.

You can simply 'Save As' the assembly to a new name, then delete the parts not required and save it again.

This also breaks just about every constraint. So either anchor the parts or be prepared to install new constraints.

I do this exact thing on a regular basis with large assemblies. Even down to 3 or 4 sub-assembly tiers. "The only way to go."

Creation of subassemblies in situ is another feature I added to my "Alibre Feature Wishlist", currently Save As is the only option.
