Misnamed parts

I have misnamed some parts in an assembly that I am working on, mostly due to poor typing skills. Is there a good way to correct my mistake? If I just rename them correctly in file explorer when I open the assembly it says that the parts are not found and if I open the assembly the parts are missing. I can reinsert the correctly named parts but I have to redo all of the constraints. I am sure that I am not the only one with poor typing skills.

If parts are generated in the assembly workspace, you can rename them in Assembly Explorer as long as this happens prior to first save.

Otherwise you must Save As the files from inside Alibre, then do a 'replace component' in the assembly.

Is there a way to "replace component" in the assembly or is a matter of removing the component with the new name and reinserting the "save as" and redoing the constraints? I am not seeing a "replace component" option.
I was not aware of the problem of renaming parts in file explorer. If I insert the new correctly named file which I had created as "save as" can I delete the incorrectly named original save?

Looks like replace component isn't available in Atom3D.

You could delete the original part file, then open the assembly - Atom will complain that it can't find the part - use the Replace button at the bottom of the missing parts dialogue, and point it at your saved as file.

Check the constraints afterwards.

I just do a Save As of the assembly, rename the misnamed/misspelled items, then hit the OK button. It will prompt to overwrite the assembly. The parts are renamed in the DE without having to Replace Component and the assembly is updated in the current session.
