More Questions about the Hole Option in the Software

Hello There,

If I have a square and want to center the hole with threading, how should I go about it?

For instance, I have a small wall mounted piece I will be threading a bolt to the bottom of the piece. I added the hole tool option but I have no way of centering the hole in the square, e.g. say the square is a 100mm * 100mm.

P.S. I am sure there are ways, i.e. like using the Reference Line tool option in the Sketch Mode view before applying the hole so I have a Node centered. I see the Dimension Tool is not available for holes in Atom3D. Is this just one of those caveats for now in the Atom3D software? I put in a .AD_PRT file in case this small part makes more sense than me describing it.

There is a limited set of sketch tools available when initially creating the hole. If you go back and edit the auto-created sketch after the hole has been created, you have all sketching tools available.

For example you can re-open the sketch, project to sketch as reference figure the starting face, then add a reference diagonal, and finally constraint the node representing the hole to mid point of the reference line.

You can also use dimensions to fix location of the hole node(s).
