Need Help With A USB Drive

Howdy

I am using a USB dirve for my design files. Every time I boot up my machine the drive letter changes. Is there a way to keep the drive letter the same each time I reboot my machine?

The drive letter gets assign in the order they are connected. Generally. There was a workaround for this but I cannot rememebr what it was. Perhaps some Google-foo is called for? iirc it was a registry hack...

What OS and version are you using?

Windows 10
I had a major machine crash, had to reinstall OS. I was able to save my design and transferred them to a external USB drive.
