If you're using an Open GL based CAD package, such as Pro/E or solid Works, the AMD Fire Power would be a great choice of video card. Alibre on the other hand, uses Direct X for video rendering, which is the Windows API for accessing graphics, and is typically used by games. Therefore, typical gaming cards should work better for Alibre, while also being cheaper than the Open GL optimized cards, like the AMD Fire Power and the NVIDIA Quadro lines. I would recommend finding a system with either a NVIDIA Geforce or AMD Radeon card instead, which means looking more at gaming systems. Good luck!

Win 7Pro 64bit
Working fine with Alibre.
