Photo Rendering email mistake?

I recieved an email from Alibre through the amail address I have Xpress registered on.

It shows Home and Hobby version has the Photorender. I have the Alibre full and this is not a feature but an addon. Was this a mistake? Sould it have noted it as an option? Isn't the Home and Hobby version the same thing as the Full version?

Hmmmmmm.

No mistake, Tim - the full price of the Home & Hobby version is greater than that of Vanilla AD.

Interesting. I got the same email showing that too.
When I purchased the Pro package, PhotoRender was not available in the Basic package, but now they are making it available as a standard feature in the Home & Hobby package?

Also, is the H&H package replacing the Basic package?

As far as I can tell, based on the web pages on Alibre.com that are really linked together, Home and Hobby is somewhere between AD Basic and AD Pro. Basically, with H&H, you get Photorender but not the repository or sheet metal, I think.

If I can find the links I'll post them.

From my "Changes to Packaging" thread.

When did Alibre change their packaging scheme, again?

I remember it being Basic (Standard), Pro, and Expert - then Express was thrown in below Basic. Based on the link above, it is now Express, Home & Hobby, Pro. But of course, expert still remains.

Based on the read, it appears that there are a total of 5 AD packages available for purchase to find the one that fits your need. Amazing, but confusing.

None-the-less, some smoking deals going on if it is time to buy more seats by the end of January.

OK...Alibre Design (basic) is a small list price difference than Home and Hobby but without the PhotoRender option.

I see there is $95 price difference in the list price even though the Home and Hobby is on sale for the same sale price as the standerd Design was. :? And the addon for me to get Photrender is $100 or $5 more than if I got the Home and Hobby version at full price.

Normal packages as they were:

If it's not one promotion, it's another. Don't look back :)

Alibre needs to expand its base as rapidly as possible. We'll all gain from this, up to a point...
