Problem with Points

I'm trying to let the user select using WindowsInputTypes.Point in an assembly. I want to let the user select points with total disregard for where the points are based.

Currently I can show reference geometry on a part and select a point from that part with no problem.

However it will not let me select a point that was created at an assembly level. I get an error if I try.

Currently there is no support for selecting reference geometry at the assembly level. Please submit a new feature request to support.
