Recommended STL settings

Hi,

Is there a recommended setting for the STL output options to use for exporting to a 3d printer? How much accuracy is needed?

How much accuracy is needed?

The question is how much accuracy does your application need and how much accuracy can your printer provide?
Your printer is probably the limiting factor.
Be that as it may, I use the default settings. The files are big, but it always gives good results.

Could you give me the values for default settings please? The default settings I had in my config were very crude and file size small.

Here are my default STL settings. These settings work well for me.

My settings are like Rockets, but I have 2°, not 5°.
I have never taken the time to test how big a normal deviation I can accept before the error can be seen on the printer, but there is a big difference in the file size as the deviation changes.
