Script for basic assembly animation

Hi. I am introducing in scripting and would like to create a basic script which:
1. Create a list of values for certain parameter in a global parameter file.
2. Modify the value of global parameter in a sequence according to the list.
3. Update the Alibre view for each value of the parameter and save a picture of the view to a sequentially named file.
Then the pictures can be used for making a basic video animation of the assembly.
Anyone know if I could start from any existing scripts for each operation?

I tested the script and works fine in V28 in my model with local parameters. Originally I had a global parameter file and it does not read this global parameters but fixed by moving to local for now. Thanks so much for sharing it to Nate and idslk
