Hi Nate -- Not to suggest by any means the I do not appreciate your efforts (because I do!), but teaching how such things can be accomplished should be our goal. To dive off on another tangent (my specialty), I am currently trying to figure out how to identiry Syock Size identities more usefully. Thus, it would not be just (say) "ASTM A36 HRS Plate," but should be (say) "ASTM A36 HRS Plate .750 Thick" such that "standard stock sizes" become part of the "identity" selection process. (Yes, I do know that I am strange!) -- Lew

Ideally the Project Matrix script would let the user view and edit ALL the project's Alibre file properties in real time in a spreadsheet type of window (from the Alibre Assembly without needing Excel or OpenOffice Calc). From there they could be Exported in CVS or Excel format.
