Sheet Metal pisitioning in 2D Drawing

HI.

When I create a Sheet Metal part from 3D part, I get a Sheet Metal part with base part coordinate system.
When create a drawing, I can positioning the part at such an angle or define new part view, where the plate is perpendicular to the screen (but still is rotated in this plane).

Do you have a better way?
Can any edge of a part be positioned horizontally or perpendicular in a drawing?

Define a New View in the sheet metal work space with the part oriented like you want it in a Front view then use that view in the drawing as your front view. Any other views will be developed from that one. You can use the rotation buttons on the view dialog to rotate the view prior to placement but you cannot select a line or edge to orient it.

In Alibre Design parts, sheet metal, or assembly - you can orient a 3d view to a plane or planar face and designate an edge or axis as the bottom horizontal.

Then as Harold said save it as a new view to use in the drawing.
Unfortunately this isn't parametric though - so if the planar face/edge moves it doesn't update throughout.
