Slice or Split solid to compound solid

Hey guys,

is it possible to slice or Split a solid with a plane so that it gets an internal face in AD?

Useful for splitting the shank of bolts for fea, or getting faces for boundary conditions, clamping faces, etc.

Surfacing. Create the splitting surface by starting with a solid, converting to surfaces and then removing the unwanted surfaces. Export. Then import that into the part to be split and use the 'trim model' feature. Use configs to use both sides of the model.

Or perhaps simply an extrude cut of a rectangle on the plane?
