Software reinstall
I have some concern about the reinstall procedures. At first, I needed a code from AD any time I was installing. Now, as I understand it, their website checks for authorization in the background when reinstalling on the web. Is that the way it works? If I had ordered an updated CD, would I need a code to reinstall?
I experienced some program instabilities that were not solved by updating to the new SP, but that were solved by uninstall/reinstall. There are obviously other situations where I might need to reinstall the software. If A: I can only load and edit native files (w/history) in AD and B: I need AD's help to do this, then C: if AD goes the way of the white buffalo, I could be in real trouble.
Does this concern any body else? If not, why not?
