SOLVED-Sorry dumb question from Atom newbie RE: scaling

Hello, I iust purchased Atom and have been learning it. So far I’ve 3D printed three of my own (simple, so far) designs. When export my object from Atom to a STL file, when I open it in Cura, it is scaled WAY down in size, like 1/10 what it should be. I’ve been using the Cura scaling setting to scale it back up but I can’t help thinking I’ve got something set wrong somewhere, and may be losing detail in my prints.

Any helpful suggestions would be most appreciated! Thank you.

Most slicing software assumes mm units (without saying so).

Try setting your STL output units from Atom3D to mm. This doesn't affect the units that your design is in.

Thank you that makes perfect sense, especially if Atom is defaulting to cm for the STL output….would be exactly 1/10 size. Will check and report back.

That was exactly the problem. Thanks for your quick, helpful suggestion!
