Startup problem

When starting Alibre 9.0, the part work space partially loads. There are no menu items, and sometimes the window is transparent.

I am using a Dell 5100 laptop with XP home, 2.8 Mhz processor and 1 gig of RAM. I have tried different display resolution settings, but that doesn't help.

Another Dell with graphics problems. Several users with Dell built in graphics have had the same type trouble. I did as well but it was fixed after removing Mcaffee and installing all the latest MS junk including Direct X9.0c. I don't know if it actually was the cause but it made me think.
