Trimmed Surface

Hello,
I have modeled an example of a barge in solid and then I have exported it through IGES to a specialized program that shows me that the surfaces are not trimmed.
How can I export through IGES and achieve trimmed surfaces with well-defined edges?

I believe this can be accomplished by adding the part to an assembly and creating an Assembly Boolean of the part. Save the assembly and you should be asked for a filename for the Assembly Boolean. The Assembly Boolean should not retain its modeling history and can then be exported.
