A simple but time-effective workaround for loading/saving huge assembly-files with included section views:
1. Build your assembly, create your section views
2. Be sure that ALL of your section views are greyed out or switched off (not visible).
3. Save the assembly (Important: Anytime you save the assembly switch of the section views!)
4. Load the assembly
You can test it with your stop-watch: Compare loading times of the assembly, if all section views are visible at the point of saving the assembly.
