This appears to be a new issue that I am not sure of when it arrived as I have not had the need to design a variable pitch feed screw in quite some time. Sometimes I need to stop the pitch somewhere along the helical path to introduce a new helical cut to force a fixed pitch on the starting end of the screw. I will do a " Revolutions and Pitch and I will stop the first helix to stop shy of the end. By doing a revolution and pitch parameter, this used to giv me a parallel starting point for the new pitch that I introduce. Even with the parallel condition checked, the end of the variable helix is in the "normal" condition. And I cannot change this. If I change the pitch to constant, the end result is what I am looking for. But I need the progressive pitch in order to separate the containers along the feed screw. Another question is, can I re-install an older version, along with keeping v26 installed on my current pc?
