Looks like Mirror Body is only added to the Part workspace. It would really be nice to have it added to Sheet Metal also. That was one feature of SolidWorks that saved hours in enclosure design.

That would be nice in Sheet Metal. At least with this we will be able to add the section of the Sheet Metal Part into a Part as a Boolean Feature, Mirror the Entire Part, and Convert to Sheet Metal.

Where is Rhino 8 / 3DM format update?

Version 27:

These bugs (not enhancements) are significant and should be fixed in V27. I'm sure I experienced the highlighted in red bugs at least twice.

Fractional Units Might Have Unexpected Input Parsing
When unit format is Fraction, some negative input values might result in unexpected behavior.
Spline Sketches May Update Erratically
Sketches that contain splines may not update predictably when, for example, a spline edge is connected to a model edge that changes location.
Trimming Elliptical Figures
Certain combinations of overlapping figures involving ellipses might result in sub-figures being untrimmable.
Some Draft Angles On Specific Geometry Cases Caused Crashes
Code has been hardened to avoid these issues.
Chamfer And Fillet Pattern Robustness
Chamfers and Fillets on Extrusion, Helix, Punch, Revolve, and Sweep features that consume multi-loop sketches could give odd results when patterned
Features May Incorrectly Populate Design Boolean Edit Contexts
Part features may incorrectly also populate the Design Boolean editing session.
Assembly Regenerate Command On Toolbar Didn't Work
Assembly Regenerate button on toolbars didn't function in some scenarios.
Object Reference Error
The addition of some features may cause object reference errors if all of the following were true: The part is light loaded, the part is transitioned to fully loaded, there is a suppressed feature below the last topology producing feature, and that suppressed feature is above the dog bone.
AppearanceID Not Supported By LightFace
An issue related to Assembly Holes throwing an error on assembly reopen has been fixed.
Undo/Redo Regarding Drawing Sheet Operations
Several bugs related to undoing and redoing the creation or deletion of drawing sheets have been implemented.
Disassociated Dimensions
Additional cases of disassociated dimensions from model geometry changes have been caught and addressed.
Hole Callout Data Disappeared
Some workflows resulted in Hole Callouts disappearing from a drawing
Manually Created Centerlines Might Disappear
Centerlines added with the Centerline tool might disappear when Centerlines are automatically added view-wide.
Real Time Dimensioning With Zero Angle
Sometimes odd results happen when setting an angle to 0 in real time dimensions.
Centerlines Inconsistent
Manual and automatic centerlines might behave inconsistently in dependent views such as section or detail views.
Legacy PDF Writer Crash
An issue that might crash the software when printing to PDF using the legacy PDF option has been addressed.
Object Reference Error When Double-Clicking A Dimension
Drawings in read-only mode might throw an exception when a dimension is double clicked.
Some Circles Cannot Be Dimensioned
New dynamic tolerancing of circle detection fixes issue of some specific circles not being dimensionable..

Some issues I documented here,
were fixed under the V27.0.1.27039 build.

Better transparency about bugs and known issues between releases would help.

Very good new Features., specially Feature Part Mirror!
I do like the feature Change cross hatch in Drawing Workspace to have Line Weight less than 1

I also experienced a lot of these bugs although I use Alibre just a few hours a week. This makes me think about the update policy. What if I had no maintenance? I would have to live with these bugs forever. not good.

I use another CAD software for electrical plans, the manufacturer of which releases between 20-50 bug fix updates between the main version updates, even for customers without maintenance. This is also the case with most of the other software I use.
I would also like that for Alibre.

To be clear, I love Alibre overall but there is room for improvement when it comes to bugfix updates.

Totally agree. Any bug raised for a specific version of Alibre should be made available for users who own that version ... otherwise users are just essentially beta testers and QA for the development cycle, reporting issues but seeing very few short term resolutions. Over the years it seems that bug fixes only get released at the next major version and very few minor releases for a version, during an active maintenance period, make it to fruition. It's not a software model that I tend to agree with, which is why I don't always renew maintenance and only do so when I finally see fixes for issues I have to workaround or have been active over many years!

'Maintenance', in my view, is not only for support, but bug fixes within a reasonable (weeks/couple of months) timeframe!

I too have many very good responsive support and bug fix turnarounds on other products I use. They are nearly all fixed within a week of reporting and in a few cases, they send me a patch ahead of the next minor release schedule, which tend to be monthly or quarterly (an their maintenance is way less than Alibre's!)

Would be nice to see some visibility to reported bugs, so that they aren't reported over and over fogging the Alibre bug tracker, and some indication of how long they are open for before being fixed. Also for each release a list of known issues (i.e. still to be addressed bugs) would be nice! ... but that'll never happen!

I've asked for this previously but it seems to fall on deaf ears. Alibre is a great product but more transparency when it comes to bugs and bug reporting would be a real bonus to users and developers alike.

I just reviewed the v28 release features video and was a bit puzzled by announcement of a "new" enhancement adding a hot key to show part and sub assembly reference geometry. Puzzled because I've been using a hot key show part and sub assembly reference geometry for quite a while now in v27 and, I think, v26, so I don't know what is "new" about it.

I may be wrong--and I'm far too lazy to go check at the moment--but I believe the existing reference geometry hot key is one of the few that can't be configured by the user. When I saw the V28 announcement, my assumption was that they mean you can now rebind it yourself.

Yes - Alt+zero up until now has not been customisable, and that key combination can be awkward for one handed use - hence the change.

I can see a problem if attempting to use the LH Alt key but I've not had a problem with it using the RH Alt key. Thumb on Alt, index finger on 0 (zero) works every time.

Most keyboards don't have a right hand Alt key.
What? o_O Every computer/keyboard I've used has had one. I know some (laptops) don't have a numeric keypad. Is it that some languages other than English and a QWERTY kb don't have one?
