Where is a good place/way to advertise my design services?
I am in need of some contract work.
My design services company is less than 2 years old, but I have 20+ years experience as a Mechanical Engineer/Designer. I have Bachelor's Degrees in Applied Physics and Mechanical Engineering.
Last year, I had a really good contract job that lasted from April through November. I designed and supervised the manufacture, assembly, installation, and start-up of a complete Unwind/Slitter/Rewind Machine for a canvas converting company.
This year, things are not so good. I have quoted ~$500,000 worth of custom machinery, but none of those quotes have come to fruition. Things are getting pretty tight around here and I need some paying jobs. Even just doing some drafting/3D Modeling would be very welcome and helpful.
Where do you other self-employed folks advertise your services? I would really like to get this company off the ground and on a sustainable foundation.
Any input would be appreciated!
