You can rotate the exported STL to get your desired face on the printer bed.
You can:
- Orientate as needed (as Andy already said)
- Check that print doesn't exceed printer volume
- have overhangs that exceed the specified threshold highlighted
- have thin wall sections that exceed the minimum wallthickness highlighted
- have gaps thats exceed the minimum required gap highlighted
All very handy as you can make changes within the CAD software without having to go back and forth between Alibre and the slicer.
