Why is a tapered hole upside down?

When I look at the tapered hole from the top where the larger diameter should be, there is only one ring shown. When I turn the part over I can see both the top and bottom openings showing it is upside down.

Which taper are you referring to? Please mark up your screenshots before posting or refer to the feature that creates it.

Edit the Top and Bottom OD and ID sketches to modify the size dimensions of both ends.
You can do that with the Equation Editor, then update/rebuild the model.

I do not know how to do that. Is there a tutorial or more information somewhere that shows how? The 'help' files are not much help.

And, thanks for pointing out a Precise Section view. It is the first time I have used it and it is quite handy. So much to learn...

Here is a link to the Help manual section on the Equations. There is a section on the EE also. You might want to name some of the dimensions so they stand out in the sea of default parameters listed in the EE.
Also read the section on showing Equations in the sketch dimensions.

If you run a search on YouTube for Alibre Equation Editor you might find some tutorials there or look in the training videos for you level of Alibre, located through the Training page on Alibre.com home page.

A couple of pointers....

Name your parameters/dimensions...

Equation editor holds the PARAMETERS.
The default names are D1 D2 etc.
You can rename these to useful names. There are rules for this. No spaces in the name etc.
So: LargeDia.
SmallDia.
Or:
ConeTop ConeBottom OD ID Len Wid Thk etc.

Makes it easy to see what's what and change things to suit your design changes.

Each of these parameters holds information that you've used in your design.
