Will someone try to open this file.

I sent this file to someone and he says it crashes Alibre when he tries to open the file.

Please open your assembly.
File -> Export -> Alibre *.stp

This *.stp file contains all parts, subassemblies...main assembly.
Then we can verify your file. :)

Well, I could open it, sort of.

The assembly file doesn't include the parts that make the assembly so as it opened I got screens complaining about missing parts, which I said ok to and then it opened with the tree showing 6 unknown parts and an empty screen, but it didn't crash AD at all.

To send someone an assembly it is best to save it as an Alibre.stp file which will contain all the necessary parts.

original file opens with errors (file not found) ... because the ASM file does not contain any parts
the Alibre.STP files opens correct - send this file to "someone"

the bolt_part has an unvalid Feature (Extrusion<1>) - because it has nothing in the sketch<1>
flange_bolt<4> has an overdefined constraint Align(7)

maybe this causes the crash ?
which version of Alibre do you (and the receiver of the file) use ? is it the same ? 12.1 ?

Bruce, with a circular (part) pattern it works well.
Please take a look.
(Send an e-mail... )
